A prominent law firm located in San Diego, CA, is seeking a talented and motivated associate attorney to join its growing Antitrust Litigation team. This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for antitrust law and a proven track record in litigation, specifically in areas such as antitrust disputes and merger control. As part of a dynamic and expanding practice, the successful applicant will contribute to a variety of complex legal matters and work with experienced professionals in the field.
Duties :
Represent clients in antitrust litigation, including government investigations and private antitrust actions.
Assist with merger control matters and antitrust compliance.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on antitrust issues.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide client counsel.
Engage in settlement negotiations and contribute to dispute resolution efforts.
Maintain and foster client relationships, ensuring top-tier service.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
Proven track record of managing complex litigation and case preparation.
Strong understanding of antitrust laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and handle challenging legal matters.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Licensed to practice law in California.
Skills :
Advanced legal research and writing capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Client-facing experience and ability to manage client relationships.
