Enkidu Field Marketer – Pilot Outreach & Community Research (Santa Monica) Location: Santa Monica, CA Job Type: Contract (3–4 weeks, part-time) Compensation: Top performers can earn up to $5,000 total—equivalent to ~$62.50/hour over 80 hours Start Date: ASAP Contact: About Enkidu Enkidu is a mission-driven startup reimagining what shared space means. We use a simple SMS-based ritual to turn everyday places—cafés, coworking hubs, spiritual centers—into emotional infrastructure. People reflect, connect, and return. We’re building something deeper than tech: a movement rooted in presence, not performance. One venue, one conversation, one goosebump at a time. The Role We’re looking for a purpose-driven Field Operator to help launch our pilot program across Santa Monica. You’ll meet with venue managers, gym owners, baristas, pastors, café founders—people who care about their communities—and invite them to become part of something sacred. Your role is to secure signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) to run a 3-month pilot and book a follow-up call with our founder for onboarding and insight-sharing. We’ve already compiled a list of high-fit venues across Santa Monica. You’ll have access to that full list—but you’re also encouraged to explore any third spaces (bookstores, barbershops, wellness studios, etc.) that you believe align with Enkidu’s mission. This is a short-term paid role with long-term upside. If the pilot goes well and we raise funding, we’ll be hiring for full-time or city-specific launch roles—and you’ll be first in line. You’ll Be Equipped With: 1. A visual storyboard to walk venues through the full user and business experience 2. A curated lead list of venues, complete with why they’re a fit for Enkidu 3. A Letter of Intent template for signing interested partners These assets can be updated and refined in a weekly on-site feedback meeting, where you’ll meet with the founder and team to discuss learnings and sharpen positioning. Responsibilities • Visit as many relevant venues as you can (starting with the lead list, but not limited to it) • Build rapport with venue owners, managers, or spiritual leaders • Walk them through the storyboard and explain how the pilot works • Secure signed non-binding LOIs using the provided template • Schedule a 15–30 min follow-up call with our founder for next steps • Log visits, feedback, and outcomes in a shared tracker • Attend a weekly in-person meeting to improve messaging and align on insights Who You Are • You believe human connection is sacred—and you want to build something that matters • You’re confident and emotionally intelligent, with strong in-person presence • You’re self-motivated, organized, and know how to talk to people from all walks of life • You’ve done outreach, sales, hospitality, canvassing, or community organizing before—or are ready to learn fast Compensation Structure • $30 bonus per qualified LOI (must be signed + include a scheduled call with the founder) • No cap on venue visits or LOIs—the more traction, the more you earn • Max total budget: $5,000 • If you reach that cap in 80 hours of work, your effective rate is ~$62.50/hour Why This Matters Enkidu isn’t an app. It’s a ritual engine for the real world.
