Reconciliation Application Analyst page is loaded Reconciliation Application Analyst Apply locations New Orleans, LA time type Full time posted on Posted 24 Days Ago job requisition id R2099 Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Reconciliation Application Analyst who will work closely with the Director of Account Control to support the Corporate Finance department primarily by providing technical support for the Account Reconciliation software, Cadency. This will include ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and quality assurance of existing implementation. This position will also include assisting in updates to the Account Reconciliation software that are required as the Corporate Finance Team implements a new ERP software. Working with multiple departments and finance software applications to achieve the overall objectives of Corporate Finance, this position is a dynamic opportunity to develop and enhance finance technical skills. Candidates to be ideally located in or near the New Orleans, LA metro area to support our hybrid work arrangement at our local office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Cadency Application Support: Maintenance: Maintain new reconciliation accounts Execute administrative tasks for importing data into Cadency on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Execute reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly basis. Ongoing quality assurance and monitoring of reconciliations and reconciling items Automation and ongoing improvement of administrative tasks Update rules, import definition and other changes as needed Troubleshooting: Monitor import results Troubleshoot import and reconciliation errors Manage and correct import rejects Communicate import issues with affected departments/users User Management and Support: Maintain user access Provide support to users Manage Cadency Teams and Outlooks Help Channels Work with departments and create reports, changes and improvements to fit users’ need Other Department Functions -

Assist in other department functions and processes as needed KEY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Minimum of 2 plus years' experience in finance, accounting, information systems/technology or related fields.An additional 4 years’ relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Understanding of financial principles and accounting practices, specifically Balance Sheet reconciliations CPA preferred Knowledge of Cadency (or other reconciliation software) or a Cadency Certification is a plus KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to master new software & skills quickly Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a high demand environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Access, Power BI Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills are a plus Pan-American Life Insurance Group Offers: Comprehensive Compensation Packages (base & bonus) Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off, and Tuition Reimbursement, etc. are some examples.
