Seeking Senior Cloud Engineers to support and enhance the agency's hybrid infrastructure across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, and on-premise environments. These engineers will bridge cloud operations with application delivery, providing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure that supports legacy systems while guiding modernization into cloud-native architectures. These roles require an understanding of full-stack development workflows (Java/Spring Boot backend, Angular frontend, Jenkins/Git pipelines), to optimize CI/CD and Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support OCI and AWS cloud services used by Java/JEE applications (e.g., compute, storage, networking, security). Assist in the deployment and operational support of legacy systems (WebSphere, Oracle RDBMS) migrated or connected to cloud. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and shell scripting. Partner with Java developers to design secure, high-availability environments for full-stack applications. Integrate cloud services into existing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Bamboo. Monitor and tune cloud resource utilization, access policies (IAM), and cost- performance metrics. Document cloud architecture, environment configurations, and deployment standards. Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of experience with OCI and AWS (preferred), supporting both legacy and modern applications. Hands-on experience provisioning Java-based workloads in cloud environments. Strong working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Shell, Python, or similar). Proficient in cloud networking, IAM, VCN/subnet management, object storage, and security configurations. Understanding of full-stack applications including Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, and Oracle DB. Experience supporting CI/CD tooling used in current VSP stack: Jenkins, Git, Bamboo Preferred Skills: Familiarity with containerized deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or OKE. Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and automated compliance controls. Exposure to legacy modernization strategies (e.g., monolith-to-microservices). Understanding of secure cloud deployment in regulated environments (CJIS, NIST 800-53). Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Ability to collaborate with developers, security, and infrastructure teams. Clear communication and documentation practices. Strong communication skills (written and oral) and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
