Responsibilities: Designing, implementing, and managing low-latency, global network infrastructure in both data centre and WAN environments Supporting and fine-tuning high-performance wired and wireless networking systems Leading end-to-end infrastructure projects, from scoping to deployment and documentation Using data-driven diagnostics to identify and resolve nuanced network issues (e.g. jitter, microbursts, queuing) Developing tools and automations using Python, Git, REST APIs, and config management platforms like Ansible Monitoring and enhancing infrastructure with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and InfluxDB Contributing to network architecture design and documentation, supporting large-scale global connectivity requirements Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in complex network engineering roles Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and Multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP) Hands-on with enterprise network hardware (e.g., Arista, Cisco, Mellanox) Experience supporting or optimising global low-latency networks (HFT/finance or comparable critical environment preferred) 1+ years scripting experience, ideally with Python Proficiency with network automation tools like Ansible, and experience with version control systems like Git Familiarity with monitoring and telemetry tools (e.g., Splunk, Kapacitor, Icinga, Grafana) Strong Linux networking and CLI experience Comfortable operating in a high-performance, high-availability environment with minimal tolerance for latency or downtime Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally on strategic and technical issues Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) CCIE certification or equivalent hands-on knowledge preferred Benefits: Highly competitive discretionary bonus program Medical, dental, and vision coverage HSA, FSA, and dependent care options Group and voluntary life insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid parental leave and wellness programs Generous vacation and holiday policy
