We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Enterprise SaaS applications focused on
Truck or Rail Transportation and Logistics Management Systems (TMS) . This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, solid project management experience, and a deep understanding of SaaS SDLC. You will oversee the planning, execution, and smooth deployment of TMS software product releases while ensuring alignment with PMO processes, business priorities, customer needs, and organizational goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Management and Delivery:
Manage all aspects of software multiple product development projects typically of $500k each, dotted line into a Program Manager within PMO. Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex technology projects within the SDLC, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality features and solutions Drive alignment to roadmaps while assessing, communicating, and mitigating risks and dependencies across delivery streams and projects Under the general direction of the Project Management Office, create, manage, and complete cross-functional project plans, successfully executed within costs, timelines, and quality by internal resources and third-party development resources
Coordinate with IntelliTrans’ product management, release, IT, marketing, sales, and support teams to create a seamless transition from project initiation to implementation and support, including defining and controlling project scope and objectives Manage onshore and offshore Agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability Establishes and build strong working relationships with stakeholders, and resource teams, to ensure the successful delivery of Intellitrans products using a wide-ranging experience, professional concepts, and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Metrics and Reporting:
Able to demonstrate the progress of projects, and effective use of resources through Earned Value and key delivery milestones Use consistent metrics to assess risks, inform prioritization, and support decision-making processes Provides regular status reports, dashboards, and a regular cadence of meetings to Program Manager, stakeholders, and resource teams
Qualifications: Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects with multiple development teams
on projects of $500k or above Strong technical background, prior experience in software engineering, DevOps, or IT SaaS project management 3+ years’ experience and deep understanding of the SDLC, Scrum methodologies, and scaled Agile practices Highly organized with advanced problem-solving skills Expertise at controlling multiple projects including costs, scope, resources, timelines, and project financials, in
Jira ,
Smartsheet , and
MS Teams Expertise w/Excel, MS Office, Jira and Smartsheet
Leadership Skills:
Experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models in an Agile environment Demonstrated ability to drive governance, manage dependencies, and optimize organizational delivery Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with project sponsors, and cross-functional teams, including writing, speaking, presenting, and listening skills
Education:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a master’s degree; or equivalent experience as a Project Lead on Technology based projects PMI PMP or SAFe Certification+ or equivalent Project Management Certification
Strongly Preferred Experience: Direct experience with managing freight movement, intermodal transport, or Supply Chain Logistics within an enterprise SaaS solution, especially Truck or Rail TMS.
