HR Generalist

- $27.77 per hour Founded in 1997, Think Together partners with schools to change the odds for kids by providing award-winning programs during and outside the school day. Essential Job Duties:

Coordinate with payroll department to ensure accuracy of final wages. Summarize and report regional payroll information. Assist with infectious disease intake as applicable. Support daily HR functions, providing input on projects, addressing employee questions, and ensuring legal compliance. Update and maintain physical and electronic employee files. Verify accuracy of time/attendance data and payroll records; demonstrate strong Excel skills. Prepare and deliver new hire and onboarding presentations. Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, orientation, transfers, promotions, terminations, and exit interviews, including data entry and audits in HRIS. Communicate professionally with employees, managers, and candidates. Support Program Departments and Regional Hub office. Organize work to meet deadlines. Conduct research and organize information for special projects. Provide guidance on Think Together policies and procedures. Create and maintain data entry/tracking sheets. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Responsibilities:

Review work for quality and accuracy. Maintain confidentiality of applicant data and other sensitive information. Provide program support at sites if needed. Contribute to employee morale and company culture. Collaborate with HRBP to ensure accurate and timely HR duties. Other Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Working knowledge of ADP. Judgment and experience to resolve employee issues related to payroll and policies. Independent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Willingness to take on additional tasks. Reasoning Ability:

Interpret written and verbal instructions effectively. Minimum Qualifications:

At least 1 year of HR experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Professional HR Certification preferred (e.g., pHR, sPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, GPHR). Knowledge of CA employment law. Computer Applications:

MS Office Typical office equipment Internet software Teams and Zoom Background Check Requirements:
