The Coordinator, Business & Legal Affairs position requires a talented, driven, ambitious and self-motivated individual who will handle a variety of legal and administrative duties in support of daily operations for the Business & Legal Affairs team. Responsibilities

Provide assistance for multiple attorneys, including scheduling meetings and conference calls, managing calendars Maintain form agreements and detailed status report; lead monthly status report meetings Manage the execution, distribution, and filing of agreements File documents with U.S. Copyright Office as needed Draft correspondence, memos, rights summaries, and notices for internal circulation Manage and process expense reports, payment statements, and invoices Redline and draft agreements and amendments Interface with third party lawyers, producers and several internal departments Conduct legal research on various issues, including rights analysis, chain of title review and recent developments in Entertainment Law Qualifications and Skills

Must be able to meet tight deadlines and capable of working with confidential legal information (legal experience preferred) Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to Haves

JD degree and admitted to practice law in the State of California (or pending bar examination results) Experience working at an entertainment law firm, talent agency and/or television or motion picture studio or production company Experience reading and handling entertainment legal contracts General knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry Strong interpersonal skills, including: a professional presence; experience as a team player; and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with other individuals across the company Willingness to take initiative; self-starter who is organized and able to work without close supervision About Lionsgate
