Estimated salary $105,000-$135,000 Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain high levels of departmental performance and staff productivity through effective supervision, including training, coaching, performance evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions. Ensure all supervisory practices are aligned with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and performance standards. Manage and monitor the performance of real estate loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. Analyze and underwrite existing loans within the assigned portfolio by leveraging internal loan data, client financials, and third-party market research. Conduct thorough market and credit analysis to assess risk, identify trends, and ensure ongoing loan performance and compliance. Responsible for the analysis of CRE problem loan workouts/modifications. Recommend to the Sr. Portfolio Manager resolutions on problem CRE loans. Ensure timely renewals, modifications, and covenant compliance. Regularly review portfolio to identify potential concerns and conduct financial analysis and risk assessments for new and existing real estate loans. Work with outside counsel, internal compliance, and our loan closing teams to close modifications and new loans including review of third-party reports and loan documentation. Prepare and present portfolio performance reports to senior management. Collaborate with senior portfolio managers to develop strategies around relationship optimization and deal level execution. Stay informed on local market trends, zoning changes, and economic indicators. Interface with customers to assist in identifying needs and maintaining strong relationships. Assist Sr. Portfolio Manager in the preparation of loans to be presented to credit committee for approval. Answer audit inquiries for internal and external credit exams as they arise. Present well-informed recommendations for resolving complex real estate lending and portfolio management situations, exercising independent judgment while continuously developing subject matter expertise in the Bank’s functions, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities. Office-based position with occasional site visits to properties. Required Qualifications: BA/BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in real estate portfolio management, including oversight of Commercial, and Residential loans, preferably within a banking or financial institution environment. 2+ years of experience in supervisory role Strong understanding of real estate lending, valuation, and market analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDIC, DFS compliance) Ability to apply sound judgment in the application of analytical conclusions to credit approval, structure, and management recommendations. Demonstrated strong project management skills and experience in cross-departmental efforts. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Preferred Qualifications: MA/MS in related field. Experience in oversight of Consumer loans, preferably within a banking or financial institution environment.
