Class B Driver Trainee

Join Safety-Kleen as a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee! In this exciting role, you'll receive comprehensive training to operate a Class B box truck while offering onsite service for parts washer machines, managing hazardous waste pickups, and promoting our products/services along your designated route. We will cover your costs to help you obtain your CDL! Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship Competitive pay range: $22-26 per hour Comprehensive health benefits start after 30 days of full-time employment, including a 401K with company match Participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Career advancement opportunities tailored to all stages of your professional journey Enjoy company-paid training and tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to our rigorous safety protocols Efficiently complete daily service, delivery, and pickup schedules Manage 15- & 30-gallon drum exchanges at customer sites Complete all necessary documentation and labeling accurately Identify and collect leads for new products and services Promote additional products and services to existing clients Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations Operate vehicles safely and in compliance with U.S. DOT regulations Follow corporate operating guidelines and procedures Maintain compliance with all health and safety policies Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Must obtain a CDL B within 180 days of hire (company paid) Acquire Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of obtaining CDL B Ability to work independently while prioritizing productivity Basic computer and math skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective problem-solving abilities Physical ability to meet job requirements Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination Preferred Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills Prior commercial route driving experience (Class C or non-CDL) Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an inclusive workplace.
