Our Client, an American Multinational Clothing and Accessories Retailer, is looking for a Copywriter for their San Francisco, CA location.

Communicate with internal and external customers for optimal product presentation.

Analyze technical information for each new and existing product for catalog and online presentation.

Observe and use products when possible to gain understanding.

Attend meetings related to catalog and internet production, taking notes on products and processes.

Write content for all products on assigned catalog pages and online.

Adjust copy to meet the needs of customers, marketing, and management.

Possess working knowledge of computers and the aptitude to learn new programs.

Track the progress of assigned pages and products throughout the catalog and online processes.

Organize workload efficiently to manage time effectively.

Meet multiple deadlines.

Write various documents such as press releases, response letters, interviews, departmental items, and manuals.

Maintain current reference materials and review copy using checklists and style guides.

Verify details and maintain accurate product files.

Proofread and edit copy as necessary.

Assist team members as needed and perform clerical duties.

Consider legal aspects such as trademarks, origin, and materials in copywriting.

Requirements:

Ability to perform all essential duties effectively.

Minimum BA in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.

Writing experience in advertising or related fields preferred but not required.

Experience with internet platforms preferred but not required.

Ability to interpret various forms of information and write for diverse media and audiences.

Conformity to style formats and excellent communication skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams.

Diplomatic, tactful, and able to prioritize and multitask.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to meet deadlines, possibly outside regular hours.

Basic knowledge of Mac or PC, desktop publishing (preferably QuarkXPress), MS Word, Excel, and internet/e-commerce.
