Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application. 1200 Pecan Street SE Washington, DC 20032, USA The Senior Director (SD) works directly with the Chief Operating Officer, Department Chairs, and Executive Directors to achieve operational and financial goals supporting Cedar Hill's academic and clinical missions. The SD collaborates across teams to deploy contemporary care models to meet budget, patient service, and financial sustainability targets. Responsibilities include developing relationships with physicians and leadership, managing daily operations, and ensuring strategic goals are met. Manage daily operations, including planning and strategy meetings with key stakeholders. Serve as the primary administrative contact and leader. Collaborate with clinical, finance, and executive teams to develop and monitor budgets, and address variances. Set and achieve growth goals for primary care and subspecialties, including site identification, launch, and scaling. Partner with departments to identify performance gaps, develop action plans, and monitor outcomes. Enhance the financial success of the organization through sound decision-making. Apply operational and financial expertise to improve departmental performance. Monitor operational and financial indicators, engaging physician and administrative leaders. Understand funds flow and contractual relationships for reconciliation and negotiations. Coordinate with inpatient and ambulatory teams to meet operational deadlines. Maintain effective external vendor relationships. Participate in leadership meetings, clinical rounds, and staff forums to maintain visibility. Motivate staff and build positive relationships to achieve high performance. Lead organizational initiatives to standardize processes and reduce variation. Define organizational and operational models for clarity and control. Promote a culture of collaboration aligned with ICARE values. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related; Master’s preferred. Experience: 7+ years in operational roles, preferably in academic practice; Epic experience preferred.
