Sr. Product Manager – eBOS
to lead the development and lifecycle management of key eBOS products. This individual will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of power electronics, wire management, and electrical interconnect systems that seamlessly integrate with Nextracker’s solar tracker platforms. The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of electrical systems and product development, strong cross-functional leadership, and a data-driven approach to product decisions. This role is both strategic and hands-on, bridging engineering, manufacturing, and customer success functions. Key Responsibilities Own the roadmap and lifecycle for eBOS products such as DC string combiners, AC/DC disconnects, wire management assemblies, trunk bus assemblies, and other power collection platforms.
Define product requirements based on market analysis, customer needs, and field feedback.
Drive end-to-end product development in collaboration with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes (NEC, UL, IEEE) and regional standards.
Serve as the technical voice for eBOS products, supporting customer discussions, field escalations, and technical enablement for sales teams.
Assess new technologies and design approaches to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
Translate field performance data into actionable insights to iterate and improve product designs.
Partner with internal stakeholders across tracker, power electronics, and digital solutions teams to deliver cohesive system offerings.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on go-to-market strategies, value proposition articulation, and technical collateral.
Support supplier qualification and manufacturing transitions as needed to scale production.
Required Qualifications A BS or MS Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
8+ years of experience with PV system design and applications.
Good understanding of physics, component selection of semiconductor devices, magnetics, cable/bus bar and protection devices.
Knowledge of UL & NEC compliance requirements
