Job Description

DPR Construction is seeking a Self Perform Work project manager with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of a particular project.

Management will be of Self perform projects within our core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and commercial. Project managers will work closely with all members of the project team, project executives, and regional leadership teams and will be responsible for:

Management of all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator).

Mentor, develop, and train project engineers for fast-paced growth.

Having detailed knowledge of project scope.

Cost control, billing, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports.

Being the key contact with owner and architect.

Supporting the jobsite and self-perform work team.

Accountable for project completion, financials, customer satisfaction, and critical success factors.

Coordinate and manage project planning and scheduling.

The ideal candidate is a flexible, detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple tasks, producing quality work, and meeting deadlines. Requirements include:

Excellent listening and communication skills.

Ability to resolve complex issues.

Ability to support team morale.

Understanding of building processes and systems.

Knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software (Prolog or similar), cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).

5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably within DPR’s core markets.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

This position is salaried with an anticipated starting pay range of $135,000 - $180,000.
