Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) provides enterprise IT support to Federal clients, employing experienced Subject Matter Experts in the Federal marketplace.
We are seeking a
Cybersecurity Compliance Manager
to oversee security governance and risk management efforts for the FCC under the FETS program. This role ensures compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations, implements threat mitigation strategies, and promotes a proactive security posture.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity frameworks including NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, and zero-trust architecture principles.
Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and threat intelligence integration.
Conduct security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
Collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and document corrective actions.
Support security reporting and briefings for agency leadership and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report security metrics for continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience managing cybersecurity operations in federal environments.
Experience with large-scale IT service contracts, overseeing cross-functional teams, service delivery, and performance monitoring.
Deep understanding of threat detection, incident response, and remediation protocols.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Must be a US Citizen.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience supporting federal audits (e.g., FISMA, ATO).
Familiarity with tools like Tenable, Splunk, and endpoint detection platforms.
Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong technical support skills and customer service experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
