Quality Assurance Analyst – AWS SDET Location:
Seattle, WA Job Description: Key Skills:
AWS, CICD, IT operations, SDET, Selenium, Web browser automation, cloud computing, cloud providers, computer performance, computer science, continuous integration, information technology, public cloud, science & research, software development, software engineering, system administration, technology, web application, web development. Responsibilities: Execute complex, reliable, structured, and manageable software quality assurance processes, including test requirements gathering, designing, planning, scripting, and execution to meet operational service expectations and business objectives for in-house developed, digital, and customized packaged applications and technologies. Perform system and problem analysis related to application development and software quality assurance testing workloads, covering sustainment and project work. Stay updated on technological developments and products related to software quality assurance best practices, including processes, methods, and tools. Contribute to release testing activities, including application functional and regression testing, platform upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements. Create and maintain manual and automated regression test suites for assigned applications and support regression testing for planned releases. Support software quality assurance testing activities for capital projects, leveraging various software development methodologies. Quality Control and Test Management: Develop, maintain, and execute test requirements, plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts from design through testing phases for ongoing sustainment and projects. Ensure test artifacts are applicable, repeatable, traceable, retrievable, and reusable within responsibilities. Quality Management and Governance: Plan, design, script, and execute tests covering operational, environmental, and compatibility aspects, following current standards and practices. Develop and implement testing standards, quality assurance practices, and procedures for testing teams.
