ACTIVE Top-Secret The Team Leader shall receive and implement orders and special instructions from the SSM or Regional Security Officer concerning matters which affect the security operations of the site. They will possess the skills to handle the team’s administrative work at the site while actively participating as a team member. The Team Leader is typically called upon by the SSM to coordinate with the General Contractor’s foreman to ensure upcoming work requirements are addressed and staffing is scheduled appropriately. Duties and Responsibilities: Implement orders and instructions from the Site Security Manager (SSM) and Regional Security Officer (RSO). Operate proposed inspection equipment. Utilize knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles. Read and analyze designs and blueprints to understand the architect's intended use. Analyze designs and structural complexities that may mask ulterior purposes. Exercise knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures and construction principles, including devices used for clandestine surveillance by hostile and friendly intelligence services. Write detailed reports in English, analyzing issues, findings, and security situations requiring staff action. Maintain daily logs during their tour of duty. Requirements: Must have at least four (4) active years on the program. Must have participated in two (2) construction projects within the past 4 years. Construction Surveillance Technicians must have at least five (5) years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: Construction security surveillance Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence Construction quality assurance Hands-on supervisory construction experience Additional Requirements: U.S. citizenship. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old. Maintain an active Top-Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance. Hold an active CST certification. Be in good physical health and meet medical requirements for the position. Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience with alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and CCTV systems. Capable of reading, speaking, and writing English fluently, with the ability to produce concise reports.
