The expected pay range for this position is $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Product to own the product vision, strategy, and execution for our growing portfolio of B2B applications on the Workday Marketplace. This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining what we build and why , guiding our products from conception to launch and beyond. You will be instrumental in building a world-class product organization and delivering solutions that provide immense value to our customers on the Workday Extend platform.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned product leader with a proven track record of managing a diverse product portfolio and leading high-performing teams. You have a deep understanding of customer needs and can translate them into a compelling product roadmap within a major B2B ecosystem.
Candidate must be based in either the Dallas-Fort Worth area or Denver, Colorado. This is a hybrid position that requires regular in-office presence at our Southlake, TX headquarters or our Denver office.
Job Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap, making strategic and data-driven decisions to prioritize features and initiatives that align with business goals and customer needs.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a talented team of 5+ product managers. Foster a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and execution.
Guide a portfolio of 10+ products through the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to development, launch, and iteration.
Establish and scale product management processes and best practices for requirement gathering, roadmap planning, and agile development to increase team velocity and impact.
Work with your team to translate customer and market insights into clear, comprehensive product requirements, user stories, and specifications for engineering.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central hub for your products, collaborating closely with engineering, product marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product development and launch. This includes leading collaboration with offshore development teams.
Market & Customer Insight: Champion the voice of the customer internally. Develop a deep knowledge of the market, our users, and the competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
Ecosystem Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems, like Salesforce AppExchange or NetSuite SuiteApp, to build products that are natively integrated and highly valued on the Workday Marketplace.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of product management experience in the B2B software/SaaS industry.
Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing a team of 5+ product managers and overseeing a portfolio of 10+ products.
Process Builder: A track record of successfully building and scaling product management processes (agile, scrum, etc.).
Ecosystem Savvy(Preferred): Demonstrable experience building products for a major B2B marketplace ecosystem (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).
Domain Expertise: A strong background in Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is required.
Technical Acumen: Must be comfortable working closely with engineering teams and have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Workday Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the Workday platform, its ecosystem, and the "Built on Workday" (Workday Extend) platform is highly desirable.
Global Collaboration: Experience working effectively with offshore engineering and development teams.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze complex market and customer data to craft a long-term product strategy.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
