What you'll do

As a Manager, Advanced Analytics , you will be part of a strategic and growing team for Walmart Connect. You will be responsible for driving strategic analysis for some of the largest advertisers in the world. Leveraging tools like Tableau, Google Cloud Platform, SQL, and Python, you will derive tactical and strategic insights and communicate them to internal and external stakeholders.

This is an individual contributor role.

Position Description

The Manager, Advanced Analytics on the Media Insights team will lead in managing interpretation, analytics reporting, and analysis for key insights & performance recommendations with Walmart advertisers.

You will deliver clarity to advertisers seeking causal insights and measurement impact through strategy, planning, campaign completion, and customer analytics.

Create and lead client-facing analysis, including calls and in-person presentations, to drive data-driven best practices, recommendations, and guidance for Walmart Connect’s top advertisers.

Perform hands-on analysis and conduct in-depth investigations with the team, lead and execute end-to-end measurement projects, and make actionable recommendations to the business.

Assist in process improvement initiatives to scale data and measurement solutions.

Contribute to building measurement and analytics tools and platforms reflecting the best available solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing).
  • 3+ years of experience in integrated marketing strategy, analytics, measurement, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Project management experience handling high volumes of reporting and analysis requests.
  • Experience with data manipulation languages (SQL, R, Python) and visualization tools (Tableau, MS Power BI).
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing, attribution, and ROI measurement, including online advertising performance and awareness.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments, delivering functional features quickly.
  • Ability to explain technical topics and metrics clearly.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing).
  • 5+ years’ experience with media and marketing measurement, analytics, and reporting within an advertising agency or consulting firm.
  • Experience with online advertising targeting and measurement systems (ad servers, DSPs, DMPs).
  • Knowledge of advertising technology, including third-party ad-serving, tag management, and programmatic ad platforms.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity of direction.
  • Experience with project management platforms like Jira and Adobe Workfront.
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests, understanding statistical concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop and present strategic, actionable recommendations to executive audiences.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
