Here at Elliot, tests are performed by experienced technologists on all new state-of-the-art digital equipment. The Neurophysiology Department has full-time, professionally trained neurophysiological technologists on staff, and neurologists to interpret all studies.Position Summary To perform EEG tests as requested by physician.Key Responsibilities Perform EEG tests as requested by physician.Gather patient medical history, explain testing procedures and prepare the patient for procedure.Monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities during testing.Reports findings to physician once testing is complete for further analysis.Enters appropriate data in computer modules.Verifies department inventory levels and reorders additional supplies as needed.Education/Experience/Licensure Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in Clinical Neurophysiology preferred.Experience: Previous healthcare/ EEG experience preferred.Certification/Licensure: EEG Certification required. Registered EEG Technician preferred.
