AI/ML - Senior OS Software Engineer, Evaluation Cupertino, California, United States Software and Services Description You will be responsible for implementing features and building frameworks for online experimentation systems used internally across all Apple operating systems. The role requires strong skills in object-oriented software design and programming. Performance analysis and tuning are significant aspects of this job. You will develop new features, maintain existing code, fix bugs, and contribute to overall system design. Your work will ship code that runs on devices used daily and powers various Apple products. Additional Requirements Experience building widely adopted APIs Software engineering experience in large-scale systems is a plus An understanding of how platform design impacts end-user experience Minimum Qualifications At least 3 years of development experience at the systems level using Objective-C and Swift Strong understanding of iOS and macOS fundamentals and frameworks Experience with daemon and framework development Proven ability to deliver production-grade iOS/macOS software Familiarity with tools like Xcode and Instruments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Thorough understanding of scalability, reliability, power, and performance on iOS Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or machine learning is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience building widely adopted APIs Experience with large-scale system engineering is a plus Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
