As a Fleet Driver at CarMax, your responsibilities will go beyond just loading and driving. What you will do - Essential responsibilities
- Load, transport, and off-load CarMax vehicles at various locations, ensuring timely delivery for our teams and customers.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to maintain smooth and safe transportation operations.
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and all necessary documentation.

As a Company Driver, you’ll transport vehicles between vendors, distribution hubs, and locations. Your role is vital as you will be the face of CarMax, utilizing your strong communication and teamwork abilities to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications and requirements
- Valid state-issued commercial driver's license Class A (CDL). Prior driving experience is preferred.
- Driving record with no more than 6 penalty points in the last three years.
- Ability to meet DOT-mandated medical qualifications.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and winch transported vehicles during the loading process.
- Proficiency in operating a 10-speed transmission.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- This role primarily works outdoors and may involve exposure to noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.
