Manufacturing QA Technician

Position Title : Manufacturing QA Technician
Work Location : Waukegan Road, North Chicago, IL 60064
Assignment Duration : 6 months with possible extension
Work Schedule : 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Work Arrangement : On-site
Position Summary: Perform inspecting, sampling, and physical testing of work-in-process and final packaged products per appropriate product specification.
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• A good understanding of basic math and clerical skills is required.
• 2+ years of overall work experience.
• 2+ Experience in a manufacturing/finishing environment is desired.
• Previous knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products is desired.

Purpose:

• Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position.
• Perform inspecting, sampling, and physical testing of work-in process and final packaged products per appropriate product specification.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing routine testing on in-process and finished product in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.
• Responsible for supporting Operations efforts in meeting established production schedule.
• Reports problems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Seeks additional guidance or advice when problem is beyond scope of training or knowledge.
