Clean Harbors
Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. Some of the vehicles you will drive include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. In this role, you will be engaged in both driving and non-driving tasks related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
- Drive commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team approach.
- Operate various Class A trucks and ensure proper loading and unloading.
- Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer needs.
- Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
- Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT regulations.
- Observe all environmental health and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
- Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
- Competence in using various mobile devices.
- Capable of performing physical functions as required.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
- Meet facial hair standards as required by OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a commercial driver.
- Relevant Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Previous experience with Hazmat.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Prior manual labor experience.
