This job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of LancesoftConfidential - can start with interim clearance but will need it obtained within first six months on assignmentPosition Summary:The Exhaust Processor is responsible for operating and overseeing tube process stations and associated vacuum and electronic equipment used to manufacture intensifier tube components. This role involves both manual and technical tasks, requiring a high level of precision, care, and adherence to quality standards in a cleanroom environment.Key Responsibilities: Operate vacuum and electronic equipment to carry out the exhaust process for intensifier tubes Remove stainless steel bolts and finished product from vacuum systems using hand tools Safely unload and reload fragile tube components without damaging equipment or product Perform various routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities Follow documented procedures and work instructions to meet quality and yield goals Monitor and interpret data from meters and analytical/diagnostic equipment (vacuum, temperature, torque) Maintain accurate records using the onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS) Identify and report complex equipment issues and deviations in process or components to engineering Adhere to vacuum and cleanroom best practices Perform other duties as requiredProcess Scope Includes: Producing quality products that meet customer specifications Maintaining sufficient inventory to support internal and external customer needs Completing work in a timely manner to meet production schedules Utilizing hand tools and written procedures to complete tasks efficiently Working both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to wear cleanroom attire and work in a cleanroom environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to multitask and monitor multiple exhaust stations Must be able to meet physical demands of the role Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance within 6 months of hireDesired Qualifications: 1-3 years of related manufacturing experience preferred Experience with ultra-high vacuum technology or semiconductor processing (OJT provided) Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) Knowledge of Six Sigma, 5S+1, and Lean methodologies Demonstrated speed and accuracy in task executionEEO EmployerLanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
