Joining its powerful, intuitive platform with its vibrant, distinguished brand, GlossGenius is the ideal combination of a fintech, SMB software, and consumer company all in one.About the RoleAs a Senior Technical Recruiter at GlossGenius, you will be responsible for owning the full-lifecycle recruitment process for roles across our engineering pillars, this can include both pipeline-based hiring and unique job requisitions. You will partner with our engineering leaders to develop, execute, and improve on our hiring strategies to attract and hire top talent across NYC, SF, and Toronto.You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).What You'll DoRun an efficient, high-touch, full-lifecycle recruiting process for searches of varying levels of complexity Own sourcing for a variety of roles which will include talent mapping, market research, referral generation, and other creative strategies to find stellar technical talentLeverage tools like Greenhouse and Gem to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent, and ensure high-quality data integrity Manage stakeholder relationships, drive alignment on priorities, and leverage data to influence decision-making and strategyPromote GlossGenius' culture and values to attract top talent and increase the company's employer brand awarenessMaintain a strong pulse on the technical talent market and provide insights on competitive hiring trendsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of recruiting experience with at least 2+ years of technical recruiting experience at a startupProven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-urgency environments, maintaining attention to detail and qualityA self-starter with experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentClear track record of success with hiring senior/staff+ engineering talentAbility to effectively influence engineering leaders to shape hiring strategiesProven experience with complex candidate closes Analytical thinker that understands how to utilize pipeline metrics to inform recruiting strategies and identify bottlenecksCustomer-focused attitude, excellent interpersonal skills to handle all levels within an organization, and a track record of providing a high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managersBenefits & PerksFlexible PTOCompetitive health & dental insurance options, with premiums partially covered by GGFertility and adoption benefits via Carrot and KindbodyGenerous, fully-paid parental leave policy401k benefit - employees are eligible to contribute starting day 1 of employmentProfessional Development - employees receive a yearly stipend for approved learning and educational-related expensesPre-tax commuter benefitsDependent Care FSAHome office supportTeam Bonding opportunities - as a distributed team, being able to build meaningful bonds both virtually and in person is incredibly important to us! We are constantly evaluating how we accomplish this and currently, teams are given opportunities to gather in person throughout the yearThe starting base salary for this role in New York is between $130,000 and $170,000 target plus equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
