Serve as a part of an integrated team of engineers and cybersecurity experts focused on implementing plans to make IT systems as resistant to attack and as survivable under attack as possible. Cybersecurity Software Engineer

Key Role

Basic Qualifications

Experience evaluating security vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, or implementing remediation activities Experience performing annual security reviews developing IT contingency plans (ITCPs), disaster recovery plans (DRPs), and continuity of operations plans Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) Ability to create cybersecurity documentation, including security plans and procedures Secret clearance Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity in a professional or academic research environment, or 8+ years of experience with cybersecurity in a professional or academic research environment in lieu of a degree Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications

Experience performing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) package reviews to ensure compliance with all federal, DoD, and Army requirements Possession of excellent research and analytical skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Top Secret clearance CISSP or equivalent Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
