PCS Tax Senior Manager Current seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our expanding Private Client Services practice in El Dorado Hills. This role offers an opportunity to join a high-performing tax practice as a leader with potential for future Partner role. You will leverage your expertise in taxation to provide compliance and consulting services to multi-generational wealthy families and their private businesses or investment entities, often owned in flow-through enterprises such as partnerships and S corporations. You will also help lead and manage our growth, identify and seize new business opportunities, supervise staff, and work closely with Partners, clients, and family offices. We provide an exceptional opportunity to develop professionally through exposure to strategic tax planning and compliance, structure consultations with respect to family or private business entities, and all related Private Client/Family Wealth Services (personal taxation, charitable taxation, trust taxation, estate & gift taxation, and financial planning for multi-generational families). Candidates must be familiar with the tax consulting process and possess the analytical skills necessary for diagnosing, developing, and implementing solutions to clients' tax needs. With the firm, you'll have the opportunity to develop and pursue creative approaches to resolve client issues. Position Description: Managing and driving the success of multiple engagements Be client facing and grow practice Be responsible for revenue generation and managing a book of business Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients Manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing high client satisfaction Anticipate and address client concerns; escalate problems as needed Initiate cross-selling business to other practices Promote new ideas and business & tax solutions to extend services to existing clients Develop understanding of client's business or family structure & investments, becoming a functional expert Stay updated on industry regulation changes, maintain competency through continuing education, and obtain additional certifications Provide timely performance feedback to supervised staff Basic Qualifications: 8+ years recent public accounting experience Experience with Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firms Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA license required Strong experience with private client services (personal taxation, trusts) Experience reviewing tax returns for wealthy families, trusts, and investment entities Ability to support financial growth and manage a book of business Ability to plan client engagements, provide tax consulting, manage compliance, supervise staff, and collaborate with clients and internal teams Strong communication skills to articulate complex tax laws Preferred Qualifications: Masters of Taxation, MBA, or Law Degree
