Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach medical assisting students in our medical assisting program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach medical assisting/medical office administration courses. The typical teaching load is 2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
Certification in Medical Assisting Required At least 5 years of industry experience required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated and results driven 5 or more years prior teaching experience preferred
