In this role you will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Scheduling, budgeting, and completing responsibilities for new product projects. Ensuring timely and accurate cost information, reviewing design for manufacturing, concurrent engineering, and production impact. Designing, ordering, and implementing tooling while coordinating materials, equipment, and methods for cost-effective production. Creating and maintaining the Production Documentation Package. Leading Kaizens and implementing lean tools such as 5S, Poka-Yoke, Visual Management, TPM, Quick Change, Single Piece Flow, and Kanban. Optimizing existing products and processes to reduce scrap, rework, labor costs, setup time, quality costs, and lead time. Conducting experiments for optimal manufacturing processes and preparing cost analyses for tooling justification. Troubleshooting tooling, processes, and equipment internally and externally for assigned products. Investigating, justifying, and coordinating the purchase, installation, and introduction of new capital equipment. Performing other related duties as required.
