Carpenter Helper
Trillium Construction is seeking carpenter helpers in Baton Rouge, LA. The Carpenter Helper assists skilled carpenters in the construction, setup, and maintenance of wood and steel molds (forms) used for producing precast concrete products. Duties: Assist in measuring, cutting and assembling wood and metal parts for molds and forms Carry and organize tools, materials and equipment as directed by lead carpenters Prep molds for concrete casting Help maintain a clean, organized and safe carpenter shop environment Load and unload materials and equipment Basic knowledge and use of hand & power tools under supervision (saws, drills, hammers, grinders, etc.) Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors or carpenters Pay: $22+/hr (depending on experience). Schedule: Monday-Saturday 60 hours a week. Qualifications: 6 months+ in a relevant environment Ability to read a tape measure and follow verbal and written instructions Able to pass pre-screenings Trillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
