COMPENSATION:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOE - WEEKLY PAY! LOCATION:
Chelsea, MI SCHEDULE:
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday POSITION OVERVIEW:
Join Fastemps as a Die Setter with leadership skills! We are looking for individuals with a strong background in Pressroom Operations and a mechanical inclination. This is a direct hire opportunity where you will play a crucial role in our success as a metal stamping powerhouse company with multiple locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify that die maintenance is performed according to the die tag. Ensure the Spectrum is set up correctly for each setup. Follow die setting procedures for each press, updating setup sheets as needed. Keep presses stocked with materials. Document piece counts at the end of each run, shift change, or job change. Monitor the visual and gauge quality of presses in the assigned area. QUALITIES/SKILLS FOR PERSONAL GROWTH:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Press Operation/Die Setting. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Proficiency with both hand and power tools. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Computer operating and programming skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
