Location: Kaukauna, Wisconsin Pay: $22 to $25 per hour (based on experience) Shifts
1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM About the Industrial Blaster Role
AtWork Appleton is seeking reliable Industrial Blasters to prepare and clean painted products using high-pressure blasting equipment. This hands-on position requires operating air hoses and handling various blasting media like metal grit and glass bead in an industrial blast booth. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with all candidates sourced and submitted by AtWork Appleton. Key Responsibilities
Operate blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces with metal grit, glass bead, and other media Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards Mask, load, and prep parts for blasting; remove blasting media from completed parts Perform regular maintenance on blasting machinery Use hoists or forklifts to move large and heavy parts (training provided) Maintain accurate timekeeping and follow all safety procedures and PPE guidelines Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and quality Cross-train in related production areas such as painting and quality control Qualifications
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing, bending, and standing for long periods Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety documents Prior blasting experience preferred but not required Reliable team player with flexibility Valid drivers license preferred Benefits
