Senior Accountant

A growing organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join their team on-site in Tulsa, OK. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, contributing to operational success, and supporting company-wide financial goals. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working collaboratively with a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Manage and maintain the general ledger, including income statements, balance sheets (account analysis), and cash flow statements. Oversee Accounts Payable functions, including processing of purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, and maintaining cash control. Track, analyze, and report on expenses to identify opportunities for cost savings. Supervise Accounts Receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate billing, payment applications, and management of aging reports. Evaluate and recommend payment terms and credit for both new and existing customer accounts. Support broader company goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA). Collaborate effectively within the team while working independently with minimal supervision. Perform other related accounting tasks and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience in manufacturing is preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Highly organized and analytical, with strong attention to detail.
