Senior Network Engineer
A Fortune 100 client is seeking to increase their network team and is seeking to hire two network engineers (1 based in Plano, TX and 1 based in Hyderabad, India). As a member of global network engineering and architecture organization, the senior network engineer will design next generation network for datacenter & private cloud environment and create simple solutions to complex network problems. The senior network engineer will work closely with delivery leads, enterprise architects, and infrastructure engineers to build Data Center network and WAN infrastructure for serving global applications and users across many sites. The Skybridge program would require the key milestones listed below to meet the overall scope of network infrastructure in new Dallas Data Center (DDC). Design LAN segments for Legacy Colo and Private Cloud Design Shared DMZ and WAN Plan and build LAN segments for Legacy Colo and Private Cloud Plan and build DMZ and WAN Network support for migrating applications from PDC, RDC, and DNSN to DDC/Public Cloud Decommission PDC, RDC, and DNSN Skills and Requirements: 10+ years as a Network Engineer with 5+ years in network engineering and design In depth knowledge and experience of the listed below network technologies is required: Routing and Switching: VXLAN, Cisco ACI, BGP, OSPF, SDWAN, MPLS Firewall: Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA Load balancers: F5 LTM/GTM, Anycast Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP Virtualization: SDN, NFV Comprehensive understanding of LAN and WAN topologies, Data Center and Cloud environments, voice, video, and collaboration platforms, and end-user device technologies. Proven ability in leading large-scale infrastructure builds and refreshes, consolidating and modernizing technology footprints, cloud integration and migrations, and network capacity optimization. Experience working in a global environment with stakeholders across multiple geographies. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of translating strategies into designs and plans that can be effectively executed. Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline. Demonstrated experience serving as a network architect in a large firm with emphasis on modern software driven networks. Lead technical discussions, driving clarity of complex issues and requirements to build robust solutions. Effectively highlight technological advantages and disadvantages from customers perspective. Identify technical win-win strategies from a business and technology perspective. Vendor certifications such as CCIE (Data Center), AWS Solution Architect, Azure Solution Architect.
