Mechanical Engineer - Mid-Level .
Located on-site in
Ventura, CA.
This role supports our Air Dominance contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD).
Duties & Responsibilities: Drawing reviews Grasp of form fit, function for End Of Life products (EOL) Corrective actions Revision updates Understanding of electronics Ability with tools to get into the consoles and replace components Interface with users of equipment Understanding how to write Engineering Change Orders Interpret ECR's, ECP's Solidworks Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) Ability to work with a team Writing tech manuals Troubleshooting to diagnose issues and provide feedback Purchase requests Ability to work solely to fix problems Documentation on revisions
Experience Requirements: 6 to 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering
Education Requirements: Engineering degree is a specified field: electrical - mechanical- Software
Security Clearance: Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one
