CNC Lathe Machinist:
On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a CNC Lathe Machinist for a full-time role. This position is an onsite position at our client's Pewaukee, Wisconsin office. This will be second shift, 2:30-11:00PM.
CNC Lathe Machinist - Job Description: The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for manufacturing parts per plant specifications accurately and timely. The role involves setting up, editing, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision gears and assemblies for industrial and commercial applications.
CNC Lathe Machinist - Responsibilities: •Set up, edit, and operate CNC lathes •Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications •Clean work area and perform minor machine maintenance •Remove tooling and return inspection equipment to the proper area
CNC Lathe Machinist - Mandatory Skills: •Proficiency using hand measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) •Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications •Experience with fanuc controls, G code, and M code programming •Mathematical skills for metric conversions •Good oral and written communication skills
CNC Lathe Machinist - Nice-to-Have Skills: •Experience with 2 axis or 4 axis/live tooling •Ability to adjust taper on the OD/ID/face •Experience on Mori Seiki, Daewoo, Danichi, Doosan Puma machines •Experience with tail stock and steady rests •Knowledge of bore gages
