As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management to help deter security-related incidents. You will also respond to inquiries, provide directions, and support building operations by maintaining a calm and organized environment. This role emphasizes strong customer service and communication skills, as you will interact with a diverse range of individuals throughout your shift. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures. Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with building management and/or emergency services as needed. Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information about the location's procedures. Support Allied Universal management by reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed at the front desk. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
