Compensation/HRIS Analyst
The Compensation/HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting and administering compensation programs and HRIS functions, with a strong emphasis on the UKG Pro platform. This role will ensure data accuracy, compensation program integrity, and regulatory compliance while serving as a critical liaison between HR, IT, and business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in UKG Pro and be comfortable analyzing data, creating reports, and supporting compensation strategy execution. This position plays a key role in driving internal equity, market competitiveness, and HR system optimization through data-driven decision-making and process improvement. Duties and responsibilities include: Support the Cavender's culture and drive our mission, vision, and values. Administer and analyze compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary structures, merit increases, and incentive programs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Maintain and enhance compensation-related data within the UKG Pro system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals. Partner with HR leadership to develop and execute compensation strategies that align with compliance requirements and company objectives. Generate standard and ad-hoc compensation reports, dashboards, and analytics to inform decision-making. Monitor federal, state, and local compensation-related legislation and ensure all compensation practices remain compliant. Serve as a system administrator for compensation modules within UKG Pro, troubleshooting issues, conducting testing, and supporting system updates or enhancements. Collaborate with external vendors and internal partners on projects that integrate compensation data or HR systems (e.g., Payfactors/Payscale). Provide user support and training to HR team members and business leaders on compensation tools and system processes. Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives that impact workforce planning, talent management, or system optimization. Qualifications and requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required. 35 years of experience in compensation analysis or HRIS systems administration, preferably in a multi-site or retail environment. Hands-on experience with UKG Pro (formerly UltiPro) is strongly preferred. Knowledge of compensation principles, labor regulations, and best practices. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis/reporting tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Clear and professional communication style, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data integrity and confidentiality. Preferred skills include: Experience with compensation tools like Payfactors or Payscale. UKG Pro system certification or advanced training. Familiarity with job leveling frameworks and market pricing methodologies. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Continuous improvement mindset and experience streamlining HRIS or compensation processes.
