Essential Job Functions: Operate CNC lathes and milling machines including program setup and running operations. (Mazak, DMG/Mori) Program complex parts for CNC multi-axis lathes & mills (Use of G-code and/or conversational programming on Mazak lathes & mills) Develop machine set-ups and program edits, ensuring programs are organized and preserved Understand geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Read and interpret 2-D shop prints Select proper tooling for production and manufacturing Work with tolerances to +/- .001 Maintain highest levels of quality as specified by customer requirements Inspect parts using a variety of equipment: micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, other as needed Demonstrate forward thinking to anticipate and avoid problems, and effectively trouble-shoot and resolve any problems that do arise Work with minimal supervision, but also engage productively within a team environment Update job paperwork, keeping it accurate and organized Use electronic Job Tracking system to ensure job status remains accurate and up-to-date Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required per M/M schedules Other duties may be assigned as necessary and appropriate

Required Skills: Extensive knowledge of machining and strong machining skills 5 years experience turning and set-up on

CNC Lathes/Mills Medium to high level of experience with tools and inserts Experience in inspection of machined parts Trigonometry & Blueprint literacy
