The RMS team in Manassas is looking for its next Systems Engineering Lead on the Integrated Common Processor (ICP) program. The ICP program provides a common integrated undersea surveillance systems (IUSS) signal processing and display system software and hardware suite for the US Navy. Work with our team as we develop and deliver new capabilities to our Navy customer. As the Systems Engineering Lead you will: Oversee all Systems Engineering activities on the program (ensuring the proper execution of the processes and defining the forward vision for the program) Lead the team in the adoption and implementation of DevSecOps capabilities and a transition into Model Based Systems Engineering Manage the requirements baseline and the application of requirements to multiple software configurations Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program's Systems Engineering activities Interact with LM Engineering Project Managers (EPMs) and the Navy Chief engineer to prepare and present Production Content Review (PCR) milestone packages for each ICP project; own responsibility to complete all PCR actions Guide the engineering team to successful design, implementation, and sell-off of new capabilities being continuously delivered to the customer Review and provide guidance to product design (software and/or hardware) ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and additional specifications as required Have a complete understanding and grasp on a wide application of technical systems engineering principles, theories, and concepts Work independently to develop inventive, thorough, practical, and consistent technical solutions to a wide range of challenging problems Collaborate consistently with ICP Integration Lead, ICP Test lead, ICP EPM and Chief Engineer to facilitate cross training of SEI&T team members Innovate to execute tasking and produce products more efficiently and with a higher degree of quality Oversee the development of system operation training (new systems and new capabilities) for Fleet Operators This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment. Travel for this role is expected to meet customer needs. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
