About the Role

The Stock Keeper 1 is responsible for ensuring proper materials are available to the assigned departments while maintaining accurate inventory transactions via scanning equipment for manufacturing departments. The Stock Keeper 1 also accurately loads trucks, receives material, and completes required paperwork.

Note: This Position is to Fill needs in both Red Lion, PA plants.

What You'll Do

Load and unload tractor trailers for receiving and shipping purposes. Operate forklift as assigned for loading and unloading heavy material; inspect and weigh materials to standards; write order tickets and distribute copies where needed. Provide movement of materials and supplies between receiving, manufacturing, shipping, and storage areas using forklifts. Control the issue and receipt of materials to production, verifying work order numbers, quantities, and status of work orders. Clearly label all cartons and accurately record part numbers, quantities, and number of cartons required for each customer number. Ensure that materials are correctly staged/shipped and all paperwork is correctly written to coordinate transactions. Rotate material using older materials first or as manufacturing requires, utilizing space in the plant efficiently. Advise supervisor about low inventory and material needs which require ordering. Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual. Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Additional Expectations

Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You'll Bring

High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent manufacturing experience. Forklift experience and prior licensing required. Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to learn company-supplied software. Ability to interface with a diverse workforce. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally during an 8-hour shift. Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift. Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
