Position Overview

We are looking for a

dedicated Medical Assistant (MA)

to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Practice Manager and Providers to ensure exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a team-based setting, is detail-oriented, and values patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and room patients based on provider protocol Prepare charts and document patient vitals and medical history accurately Assist providers with procedures, injections, prescription refills, and service orders Support medication and treatment documentation in EMR Collect, label, and package UDS (Urine Drug Screens) per provider instruction Perform equipment prep and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms Schedule appointment reminder calls and follow-up with voicemails Coordinate with other providers and clinics to obtain/send patient records Adhere to MVPC clinical protocols, policies, and confidentiality standards

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED required Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or valid MA certification (AAMA or AMT) Current

BLS/First Aid certification Strong knowledge of medical terminology Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation required Bilingual in Spanish is a

plus , but not required

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, Monday to Friday Clinic Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Fri: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

No weekend shifts In-person position at one of our welcoming clinic locations

Compensation & Benefits
