San Antonio, TX 78258 Are you an experienced Medical Authorization Coordinator looking for a full-time opportunity? Join a prestigious clinic in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and organizational skills to manage the authorization and pre-approval process for medical services. Pay/Schedule/Location/Benefits: $16.00-$17.00/hr (based on experience) Monday-Friday office hours (No weekends!) Medical, Dental, and Vision + Stone Oak area, San Antonio, TX Weekly Pay via direct deposit or pay card Medical Authorization Coordinator Duties: Process medical service requests for insurance pre-authorization Communicate with insurance providers to secure authorizations and resolve coverage issues Maintain accurate records of authorizations, denials, and appeals Ensure compliance with insurance policies and regulations Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary information for authorizations Manage appeals for denied authorizations to secure necessary approvals Medical Authorization Coordinator Requirements: Submit to a drug screen & criminal background check High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of experience in medical authorization or insurance coordination Knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, and payer requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Apply online at
