Job Responsibilities
The Sr Workday Functional Analyst role will be involved with administration, development and support of Workday. The role requires gathering of requirements, solving issues, system configuration, testing, developing and executing of enhancements. Workday functionality that this role will primarily support include: Core HCM, Benefits, and Compensation. Your Responsibilities Provide Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, data upload (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support
with a focus on Benefits, Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, and Compensation Leverage expertise in Workday to develop future state processes based on best practices Develop and drive innovative and proactive change efforts for HR process improvements and data integrity, including enhancements to end user experience Partner with HR leads, vendors, and external consultants to resolve problems and provide innovative solutions Analyze and present potential solutions to system issues and options for change requests to various stakeholders Assume the lead role within projects for particular functional areas (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation) as required Handles ad-hoc or complex mass uploads Supports Workday users with completing processes as required Identify problem areas and non-value-added activities that need to be changed or eliminated Participates in deployment of new businesses: map current processes and data, identify gaps with Workday processes, recommend changes, define requirements, configure, test and validate changes Assists with bi-annual releases, including analysis of impacts of new functionality, testing of integrations and cross functional up and downstream analysis Who We Are Looking For 5 to 7 years of Workday functional experience Experience with implementing and/or managing Workday Benefits in a globally diverse organization Strong analytical mind; demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Well-developed root-cause analytical skills with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues and defects Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management Your Preferred Qualifications Workday Functional Certifications; Workday Pro certification in HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation What We Offer At Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
