Lead Toddler Teacher
The Learning Experience, a preschool located in Pearland, Texas. We are currently hiring for a Lead Toddler Teacher to educate and care for children from 1-2 years old. The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for ensuring: the health and safety of the children in their care, the implementation of proprietary curriculum, a clean, friendly, and welcoming classroom environment, and effective communication with the childrens parents. Benefits: Company parties Competitive salary Employee discounts Free food & snacks Responsibilities and Duties: Must be at least 18 years of age Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children Must speak English proficiently to communicate with children, staff, management and parents Must be able to read and write English proficiently to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures Knowledge of childrens growth and development Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by state and company regulations and policies Previous experience as a preschool teacher is preferable Infant CPR and First Aid or willing to obtain Qualifications and Skills: Good character and reputation Nurturing Cheerful Creative Responsible Reliable Well organized Team oriented Punctual Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person Compensation: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
