Job Overview
A law firm seeks a driven and collaborative Transactional Attorney to join its growing team in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging legal matters, primarily focusing on corporate law, estate planning, and commercial and real estate transactions. Duties
Work closely with clients to develop legal strategies tailored to their needs.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including estate planning documents and contracts for corporate and real estate transactions.
Support and participate in firm-wide efforts to build efficient systems and processes for enhanced client service.
Actively collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Engage in business development activities to grow and maintain a strong book of business.
Contribute to strengthening the firm’s reputation and expanding its presence throughout the region.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional law, including corporate law, estate planning, and real estate transactions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Ability to independently manage one-on-one consultations with clients.
Business and technology savvy or the ability to learn quickly in these areas.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in areas outside the core responsibilities when needed.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
Skills
Expertise in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to transactional law.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to manage client relationships and provide proactive legal counsel.
