Career Area Product Support Job Description Summary Caterpillar's MineStar Solutions Division seeks a Product Service Consultant to support MineStar Terrain technologies. As Product Service Engineer, you will impact product quality and customer experience for MineStar Detect technologies. Your role includes product validation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting project management and stakeholder relations. What You Will Do Identify and resolve hardware and software issues related to Mining Technology (MineStar) for dealers and customers. Implement support processes to respond and resolve issues efficiently. Advocate for dealers and customers in resolving product issues with engineering teams. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Report issues through the CPI (product defect) process for proper resolution. Coordinate between implementation teams, product development, and support teams to ensure corrective actions and support processes are followed. Key Relationships Product Support Manager and Team Leader Support analysts across various countries Engineering teams Customers and Dealers Skills You Will Have Technical support experience, mining experience preferred. Customer-focused approach. Data analysis skills. Customer service expertise. Consulting skills. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving approaches. Relationship management techniques. Additional Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mining Engineering. Project management experience. Experience with Azure, Linux, SQL Server, TCP/IP, Microsoft platforms. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information Position based at Tucson office, with up to 20% travel. Must pass mine safety training and work in mining environments. Normal hours with some off-shift/weekend work. No relocation or sponsorship available.
