What You Will Spark At Amplify
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
IT Systems Administrator
to join our team. The IT Systems Administrator will support our fast-growing infrastructure and operational needs. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing and troubleshooting on-premises and clout-based systems, ensuring a secure and reliable IT environment across the organization. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, proactive and have experience in end-user support, system administration and cloud technologies supporting enterprise environments and driving continuous improvement in IT operations. In this role, you will collaborate with networking, cybersecurity and service desk teams to maintain system integrity, support escalated incidents and participate in infrastructure projects as we scale the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain Windows and Linux-based server environments. Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD and Exchange Online. Maintain patch management and endpoint security protocols. Troubleshoot and resolve escalate desktop and system issues. Assist with implementation and support of cloud services including Microsoft Azure and Intune. Participate in backup, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Support administration of enterprise systems including identity management and SSO. Partner with IT leadership and project teams to support new deployments and system enhancements. Provide L2/L3 support in ticketing system, helping to develop knowledge base content for common issues. Participate in IT asset management, software deployments and audits. Maintain systems documentation, SOPs and access control logs. Support internal audits and compliance with cybersecurity best practices. Monitor system alerts and performance metrics proactively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in IT systems administration or similar IT role. Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-100 or similar) preferred. ITIL or CompTIA Network+/Security+ certifications is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem solving and analytical skills evaluating technical data, test results, and reports. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be self-motivated and deadline-driven. Excellent organizational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Skills
Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune administration. Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP. Ticketing systems (ServiceNow or equivalent). Endpoint management and patching tools. Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred). Strong troubleshooting, communication and time management skills.
