Job Description: The Application Developer II reports to the Information Technology Division in Columbia. This role requires knowledge of programming techniques and intricacies of information systems. The Application Developer II is an expert in knowledge of computer languages, especially .NET. The selected individual must have the ability to write and revise computer programs. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and reducing to logical order complex technical data. Understanding and carrying out technical instructions and requests will be necessary. The Application Developer II will provide status reports and other technical reports clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities The Application Developer II will:

Collaborate with business analysts, users, and other project stakeholders to gather, analyze, understand and/ or document/system requirements for creating and modifying system solutions. Perform unit and system testing/ validation of system solutions using approved tools and language. Develop and maintain user guides and technical documents. Assist in maintaining existing SaaS applications. Be a motivated and detail-oriented .NET web developer. Education and Experience

A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of visual studio and other system programs, the design and the development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software. An associate or a bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience. Good working knowledge of the C# programming language, experience writing MVC applications, and experience working with application APIs to send and retrieve data.
